Iranian crude steel production is growing rapidly
From January to August this year, Iranian crude steel production was 13.44 million tons, up 15.7% year on year.
In August, Iran produced 1.7 million tons of crude steel, up 15.1% year on year. As in July, in August in the International Steel Association's output of more than 1 million tons of steel production in the country, Iran ranked second only to France.
In the first eight months, Iran produced 11.68 million tons of direct reduced iron, an increase of 11.2%, still the world's largest direct reduction of iron production.
