Ukrainian steel production increased by 4% from January to August
On September 24th, Ukrmetallurgprom, the Ukrainian localsteel manufacturer's union, said that Ukraine's steel production inJanuary-August increased by 4% to 12.27 million tons.
Exports of rolled steel increased to 10.1 million, comparedwith 9.6 million tons in the same period last year.
The EU countries are the main buyers of Ukrainian steelrolling.
