China's crude steel output in August 2018 was 80.3 milliontons, up 2.7% year-on-year. India's crude steel output in August was 8.8million tons, up 3.7% year-on-year. Japan's crude steel output in August was8.8 million tons, up 0.9% year-on-year. South Korea's crude steel output inAugust was 6.1 million tons, which was flat year-on-year.
Among the EU countries, Spain's crude steel output in August2018 was 1.2 million tons, up 6.6% year-on-year. Italy's crude steel output inAugust was 1.2 million tons, up 6.0% year-on-year. France's crude steel outputin August was 900,000 tons, down 16.8% year-on-year.
Turkey's crude steel output in August 2018 was 3 milliontons, down 5.7% year-on-year.
Ukrainian crude steel production in August 2018 was 1.8million tons, down 3.7% year-on-year.
