Ukraine ranked 13th in the world steel producers list in February
The Ukrainian Independent News Agency quotedthe World Steel Association on March 27th. In February 2019, Ukrainian steelproduction increased by 5% year-on-year to 1.689 million tons, ranking 13th inthe world steel producers list.
According to the statistics of February, thefirst place is still China, with a total output of 71 million tons, an increaseof 9.2%.
This was followed by India (8.74 million tons,up 2.3% year-on-year), Japan (7.74 million tons, down 6.6% year-on-year), theUnited States (6.9 million tons, up 1.1% year-on-year), and Russia (5.2 milliontons, down 4.4% year-on-year). Germany (3.1 million tons, down 9.4%), Brazil(2.7 million tons, down 1.7%), Turkey (2.6 million tons, down 12.5%), Italy(2.1 million tons, down 3.6%), Iran ( 2 million tons, an increase of 21.7% overthe same period, Taiwan (1.8 million tons, an increase of 22.5%).
