China's imports of crude oil from Saudi Arabia surged in March

According to data released by the Customs onThursday, China’s crude oil imports from Iran fell by 25% in March from a yearearlier, while Saudi Arabia’s crude oil imports increased sharply from the sameperiod of the previous year, making Saudi Arabia the largest crude oil supplierin China for the second consecutive month. . China imported 2.3 million tons ofcrude oil from Iran in March, or about 541,100 barrels per day, up from 509,700barrels per day in February. In March, imports from Saudi Arabia were 7.325million tons, or 1.72 million barrels per day. It increased by nearly 60% inthe same period last year.
