Nippon Steel Stainless's net profit for FY 2018 decreased by approximately 32.3%

According to the consolidated results report released byNippon Steel Stainless Steel Co., Ltd., its sales in the year of March 18, 2019increased by approximately 1% year-on-year to 261.486 billion yen, andoperating profit decreased by approximately 29.8% to 16.084 billion. Yuan,regular profit fell by about 31.1% year-on-year to 15.313 billion yen, and netprofit fell by about 32.3% year-on-year to 10.888 billion yen.

In terms of individual performance, sales for the fiscal yearincreased by nearly 1.1% year-on-year to 261.071 billion yen, operating profitdecreased by 29.9% to 16.031 billion yen, and current profit decreased bynearly 31.1% year-on-year to 14.84 billion yen. It fell by about 32.2% to10.455 billion yen.
