Australia's Port Hedland shipped more than 5% of China's iron ore shipments in September
Port data on Tuesday showed that the world's largest iron ore port, Port Hedland, Australia, shipped more than 5% of China's iron ore shipments to China a month ago.
The Pilbara Port Authority said shipments to China in September totaled 36.05 million tons, down from 38.14 million tons in August.
Total iron ore shipments in September were 41.97 million tons, down 7% from 45.43 million tons in August.
