Iranian steel exports increased 40% to 5.8 million tons in the past six months
According to the latest report of the Iranian Iron and Steel Manufacturers Association (ISPA), Iranian steel exports increased by 40% to 5.8 million tons in the past six months. Among them, semi-finished steel exports were 4.02 million tons, up 43% year-on-year, and finished steel exports were 1.87 million tons, up 37% year-on-year.
According to the ISPA report, compared with the same period last year, steel imports in the past six months were 229,000 tons, down 60.03% year-on-year. Among them, the import volume of semi-finished products was only 2,000 tons, down 93% year-on-year, and finished steel imports fell 58% year-on-year to 227,000 tons.
