JUNNAN STEEL introduces the difference between I-beam and H-beam
Appearance and shape:
Looks like the same appearance, but there are many smalldifferences hidden. I-beam: the inner surface of the upper and lower flangeshas a slope, generally 1: 6, which makes the flanges thin outside and thickinside, so the cross-section characteristics of the I-beams in the two mainplanes are greatly different.
H-beam: The inner surface of the flange is not inclined, andthe upper and lower surfaces are parallel. The cross-section characteristics ofH-beams are significantly better than traditional I-beams, channel steels andangle steels.
